Community Guidelines

Bound is a place to talk about books. Disagree about endings, rave about the slow burn, warn people about the cliffhanger. Just treat other readers like people.

Zero tolerance

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and accounts that break them may be suspended or permanently banned, without warning for serious cases.

Not allowed

Harassment or bullying: insulting, threatening, or targeting another person, including other readers and authors.

Hate: attacking people for their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected traits.

Sexually explicit content you write or share. Discussing that a book is spicy, rating its spice, or quoting it in a review is fine.

Violence and self-harm: threats of violence, or encouraging self-harm or suicide.

Spam and scams: ads, fake giveaways, link farming, or unrelated self-promotion.

Piracy: sharing, requesting, or linking to pirated books or audiobooks.

Impersonation, and sharing other people’s private information.

Spoilers

Spoilers aren’t against the rules, but please use the spoiler tag. Readers can choose to hide spoilers in Settings.

Reporting and blocking

Use the ⋯ menu on any post, comment, or profile to report it or block the person. We review reports, usually within 24 hours. Blocked readers can’t see your profile or posts or interact with you, and they aren’t notified.
