Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Bound. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Last updated October 2026.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bound. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Delete account. Deletion is permanent.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Bound permission to store, display, and distribute it within the app so it works as intended (for example, showing your posts to your followers).

You are responsible for what you post and must have the right to post it. Short quotes from books for discussion are welcome; posting large portions of copyrighted works is not.

Community Guidelines

You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate the Guidelines or these terms.

Moderation

We use automated tools and human review to keep Bound safe. Posts may be held or not published if they appear to break the rules; you can ask us to review that decision.

Copyright

If you believe content on Bound infringes your copyright, see Settings › Copyright & takedowns.

Membership

Some features require a paid Bound Community membership, billed through the App Store and managed in your Apple account settings.

Disclaimers

Bound is provided as is. Book information comes from third-party sources and may be incomplete or inaccurate. To the extent allowed by law, Bound is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; if the changes are significant we’ll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Bound means you accept the updated terms.
